It is derived from the same precursor as atrial natriuretic peptide in kidney tubular cells and secreted luminally. | | Biochem/physiol Actions | Urodilatin is a natriuretic factor belongs to atrial natriuretic peptide family which along with four cardiac hormones decreases human renal carcinoma cell numbers.
