| Description | DPPC, also known as 1,2-dipalmitoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphatidylcholine, is a phospholipid containing the 16 carbon fatty acid/palmitic acid (16:0) at the sn-1 and sn-2 positions. It is commonly used in the generation of micelles, liposomes, and other types of artificial membranes.
