Cagrilintide (CAS 1415456-99-3) is a long-acting acylated amylin analog, a cyclic polypeptide consisting of 38 amino acids with a disulfide bond. It acts as a non-selective agonist of amylin receptors (AMYR) and calcitonin G-protein coupled receptors (CTR). The product is a white to off-white lyophilized powder, soluble in DMSO and PBS, with high purity of ≥98% (HPLC). It is stable at -20°C for long-term storage.
It is mainly used in scientific research on obesity and metabolic diseases, effectively reducing food intake and promoting weight loss by activating AMYR/CTR signaling pathways.
