Steps:

15.1 Step 1) 4- (3-bromobenzyl) thiomorpholine 1, 1-dioxide

To a solution of 1-bromo-3- (bromomethyl) benzene (500 mg, 2.0 mmol) in THF (10 mL) were added thiomorpholine 1, 1-dioxide hydrochloride (513 mg, 2.99 mmol) and triethylamine (834.7 μL, 6.0 mmol) in turn. The mixture was stirred at 30 for 16 h and quenched with water (20 mL) . The resulting mixture was extracted with EtOAc (30 mL × 3) . The combined organic layers were dried over anhydrous Na2SO4and concentrated in vacuo. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography eluted with PE/EtOAc (v/v) 2/1 to give a white solid product (440 mg, 72.30) .[1022]MS (ESI, pos. ion) m/z: 306.00 [M+1]+.
