| Uses | 1-Isopropylpiperidin-4-amine is used as a pharmaceutical intermediate compound for the preparation of antiviral compounds or small molecule bioactive inhibitors. | | Synthesis | GENERAL METHOD: Compound I-5 (240 mg) was dissolved in hexafluoroisopropanol (HFIP, 8 mL) and 10% palladium/carbon (Pd/C, 120 mg) was added. The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 20 h under hydrogen atmosphere (1 atm).
