Azido-PEG8-t-butyl ester Usage And Synthesis
DescriptionAzido-PEG8-t-butyl ester is a click chemistry compound conpprising an azide group and a t-butyl ester moiety. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. The azide group can react with alkyne, BCN, DBCO via Click Chemistry to yield a stable triazole linkage.
UsesAzido-PEG8-Boc is a PEG- and Alkyl/ether-based PROTAC linker can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1]. Azido-PEG8-Boc is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. It can also undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
