Uses
ACID ORANGE 63 is suitable for dyeing wool, silk, nylon, and wool blends. It can also be used for direct printing on wool, silk, and nylon fabrics. It is generally used alone, but can also be used in combination with other dyes for dyeing coarse woolen fabrics and loose wool. It has good leveling properties, but a relatively low dye uptake. When used for dyeing wool with other fibers in the same bath, nylon achieves a color similar to wool, silk a lighter color, and acetate and cellulose fibers show slight staining.
Preparation
2-Amino-5-(4-aminophenyl)benzenesulfonic acid double nitriding, respectively with the 4-(3-Methyl-5-oxo-4,5-dihydropyrazol-1-yl)benzenesulfonic acid and phenol coupling, then use 4-Methylbenzene-1-sulfonyl chloride esterification of hydroxyl phenol.
Properties and Applications
