| Uses | Z-VDVAD-AFC is a fluorogenic substrate. Z-VDVAD-AFC is used to measure the activity of cysteine protease 3 (Caspase-3). Z-VDVAD-AFC undergoes hydrolysis to release 7-amino-4-trifluoromethylcoumarin (AFC).
