Propargyl-PEG2-methylamine Usage And Synthesis
DescriptionPropargyl-PEG2-methylamine is a crosslinker with a propargyl group and methylamine group. The propargyl group forms triazole linkage with azide-bearing compounds or biomolecules in copper catalyzed Click Chemistry reactions. The methylamine group is reactive with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters, carbonyls (ketone, aldehyde) etc.
UsesPropargyl-PEG2-methylamine (Propargyl-PEG2-NHMe) is a PEG derivative containing a propargyl group and methylamine group. Propargyl-PEG2-methylamine is an PROTAC linker used in the synthesis of PROTACs. Propargyl-PEG2-methylamine is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups[1].
