DescriptionPropargyl-PEG3-bromide comprises a propargyl group and a bromide group. The propargyl group reacts with azide-bearing compounds or biomolecules in Click Chemistry to yield a stable triazole linkage; copper will be needed as a catalyst.
UsesPropargyl-PEG3-bromide is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1]. Propargyl-PEG3-bromide is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.
